Pilipinas here they come. Today marked a historic event in the field of Pinoy Music. The much anticipated reunion concert A.K.A. as "The band of the 90's", who can forget the immortal Eraserheads. Well, sadly I wasn't a part of that event. I envy you all earthlings who get a taste of the fruitcake. The closest I can get is the ever dependable youtube. Man, I really can't believe that you can put the fab 4 in the same room even on the stage playing together as a unit. It's unbelievable if not amazing. All I can do is sit in the office for work, finish my task the earliest possible and watch the videos(hehehehe). I tell you, I got goosebumps when they played Alapaap as their intro(plus the countdown, their old pics and the fireworks). I know the feeling was nostalgic for everybody, and lucky are those who get to see them play for the first time because most are kids way back. I was able to watch them before in a university gig but this was dramatic. Though it was cut short after their first set(supposed to be two). It was announced by Ely's sister(trivia: she was part who sang styrosnow in their fruitcake album) that the concert will be cut short. She said that Ely was suffering from severe emotional stress. My hats off to Ely to still be present on the concert despite of the unexpected passing of his mom. I just hope that everything will be a ok. And I hope and I know everyone does, that there will be a repeat. Get well soon Ely and also to Francism. Long Live EHEADS....... if you are to ask me about the concert details, huwag mo nang itanong punta ka na lng sa tindahan ni Aling nena...........
