It took some time, I just need to tell something about this. Better late than never is a saying I don't fully believed in but here I am.... We already know that FrancisM succumbed from cancer, AML to be exact. This guy is a jack of all trades, and has a mastery of the skills he has. He is the Master Rapper but the craftmanship that he has made him the Master of the other skills he has in his own right. Talk about directing, photography, painting, as a tv hosts, etc. He pioneered rap music in our country, and crossed the boundaries of music thus fusion of rock and rap was born. He is truly an artist. With all of the accolades he received, what stands out is the fatherhood in him. May you rest in peace man!!!!

I remember during the release of Freeman album, I immediately got myself a cassette copy. No lyrics in the album and to get it, guess what.. snail mail. It was all worth it, the lyrics copy was printed in a paper and with it is a postcard of FM and the Hardware syndrome cross-dressed. It was printed in paper I guess to let me know he is using a pc to print it. Check this out, it was circa 95, I dont even got a pc back then....
Also, there was a contest in a radio station, up for grabs is a limited edition happy battle t-shirt. To get a hold of it, you have to sing an excerpt from the carrier single "Lab Song". Since I know the song, I called and luckily got in. I sang on air and won the contest.
Indeed, Francism has been part of my growing up years. We even covered some if not many of his songs.
He deserved a leaf, the least I can do to say thanks.
