heads up!!!

(this was yesterday's piece) While GMA is blabbing her mouth at Batasan might as well write something I have in my head.... i guess everyone hoped that she states what is truth...that's why it's called state of the nation address...since there are lot of hopefuls saying "sona puro katotohanan ang sabihin"...but one thing i am sure about, heads are headed up for a one night only reunion concert.... happening this August 30th...this will also be a reunion of the fans and maybe people who lived while they are at the peak of their success....i maybe be lucky because I was one those...although I wasn't hooked up at first when I heard "Ligaya" way back in high school....it sounded different and pinoy....I was listening to pantera, pearl jam, metallica, nirvana and the likes that's why I wasn't "elib" at first...the funny thing is, it took Pare ko and Toyang to get my face in U-turn direction.... i saw their album with parental advisory sticker, that triggers my consciousness... during that era, usually band albums tagged with that advisory are the heavy ones...of course with the profanity of their songs and what not..... so I listened and found out that "diba tang-ina" is the reason why.... but what really glued me is.... their songs are somehow like a soundtrack of life back then....especially circus and cutterpillow... it's like every year they had an album..... so that time the not "elib" turned into "hanep pala si ElyB"..... my classmates were influenced so we formed a band in school.... and the rest of the story.... well it's history.... so this August 30th, it will happen.... thanks to the millions of pesos deposited..... like a fruitcake, they took the bite and it's alright.... the heads aren't easily erased....they are back just for a night.......
